My mother had a Ninja blender that came with a bajillion extra parts, I think it lasted her about 10 years before the motor gave up recently but she mentioned she used the extra pieces maybe 3 times over that decade and she's unlikely to bother getting another. I've heard similarly great things about Blendtec blenders. There are certainly recipes just for their blenders online, which should give you an idea of it's capabilities. I believe it liquefies, but I'm not the one in our household that uses it. Other than it eating up spatulas because someone always forgets how sharp the blades are. They are pricey, but ours has never given us any issues. Our Vitamix has worked well for us for years. Please note: Moderators can remove posts/threads as they see fit outside of the above rules.
